Purpose of Establishment
The Open Source Software Foundation, in order to contribute to the interests of the general public in accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of the Civil Code, aims to provide education, research, investigation, development, dissemination, academics, publication, exchange, policy and legislative activities
that are necessary for the harmonious development of open source software and open source hardware’s ecosystem by sharing and contributing to the program.
Business Purpose
In order to achieve its objectives, the Foundation shall carry out the following business purpose:
1. Education and training related to open source software and open source hardware.
2. Development and project dissemination and support related to open source software and open source hardware
3. Domestic and overseas activities project and support related to open source software and open source hardware community
4. Compliance support for small and medium sized businesses related to open source software and open source hardware
5. Research, investigation, academics, publication, and promotion support for projects related to open source software and open source hardware
6. Organization and support for domestic and international seminars and conferences related to open source software and open source hardware
7. Domestic and overseas sharing project and support for knowledge and information related to open source software and open source hardware
8. Support for standardized activities related to open source software and open source hardware
9. Support for the international expansion of open source software and open source hardware
10. Other projects deemed necessary by the Board of Directors to achieve the objectives of the Foundation
